The Map Release team is seeking an accomplished map data validation lead to validate HD/SD map data, a vital component of autonomous driving. The ideal candidate has extensive mapping experience, deep knowledge of map data structures and validation strategies, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop an overarching map data validation strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Identify gaps in the existing map data validation process and implement improvement measures across the map release team.
Perform manual and automated map data validation on a daily basis.
Train and support map release operators.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Extensive knowledge of map data validation standards and methodologies.
At least 6 years of dedicated QA or operations experience in map data validation.
GIS background is a significant advantage.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of HD map data verification protocols and techniques.
Self-starter who requires minimal direction.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range of $152,000–$253,000 USD for Level 4.
Base salary range of $184,000–$287,500 USD for Level 5.
Salary is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
Eligible for equity and benefits.
