NVIDIA is seeking a Senior NPI Program Manager (Operations) to support products enabling deep learning, artificial intelligence, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), high-performance computing, enterprise graphics, and gaming within the Silicon Operations Group. As an individual contributor, you will own the Operations NPI schedule and milestones required to take products from tape-out through production release.
The role requires a strong engineering background, program management expertise, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, matrixed environment. You will represent Operations as the person in charge for your product and coordinate silicon bring-up, production readiness, process improvement, and cross-functional execution.
Responsibilities
- Track and communicate key results, constraints, risks, dependencies, and critical paths while collaborating with ASIC, product, test, system, software engineering, planning, and program management teams.
- Manage cross-functional communications independently within a matrixed general management team and publish progress and roadblocks to upper management.
- Bring diverse teams together to resolve complex problems and drive issues to closure.
- Collaborate on the Plan of Record (POR), ensuring qualification plans, checklists, and specifications are in place to support production release.
- Develop engineering wafer and hardware risk plans and own internal and external sample supply.
- Lead and attend cross-functional NPI meetings, highlight Operations issues, and ensure product readiness for production.
- Drive NPI process improvement initiatives across Operations and cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and accelerate time to market.
- Own metrics for NPI supply commitments, production ramp, and release milestones.
- Manage bring-up budgets and operating expenses (OPEX) for NPI.
- Develop processes and metrics for Operations planning, engineering, logistics, and quality teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of proven experience in an engineering or technical/engineering program management role.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience; a master's degree is preferred.
- PMP or another project/program management certification is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional influencing skills.
- Proficiency with program management and planning tools.
- Ability to analyze and develop solutions for supply chain processes.
- Excellent knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing flows and processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguous situations.
Benefits
The position offers competitive salaries, equity, and a generous benefits package. NVIDIA is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive work environment.
