As part of NVIDIA's applied LLM and AI chip design team, you will work at the intersection of research, engineering, and product development to transform research breakthroughs into real-world solutions. This role focuses on Agentic AI, LLM-powered applications, and using AI to drive innovation in chip design.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Agentic AI solutions including sophisticated AI agents and fine-tuning & integrating with enterprise production systems.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI applications using LLMs, internal and external agentic frameworks, and related technologies.
  • Develop and optimize retrieval and generation algorithms for enterprise data (text, code, and images) to build advanced AI applications.
  • Design and deploy LLM-powered solutions for engineering assistants and multi-turn, multi-modal dialogue systems.
  • Leverage AI technologies to solve complex problems in chip design and drive meaningful industry impact.
  • Engage with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI to create state-of-the-art solutions.
  • Maintain high-quality engineering practices and lead engineering efforts that inspire excellence.

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of proven industry experience.
  • Proficiency in rapid prototyping using Python with strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
  • Experience with fine-tuning large language models and building advanced multi-agent systems.
  • Experience with RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) pipelines and vector databases.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to thrive in dynamic, product-focused, and distributed teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills as needed.

Compensation & Application

  • Base salary range:
    • Level 3: 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD
    • Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
  • You will also be eligible for equity and benefits (see NVIDIA benefits page).
