Details

NVIDIA is looking for an inquisitive software engineer to work at the forefront of AI computing and develop infrastructure solutions that improve the performance and security of leading applications.

Responsibilities

Develop industry-leading solutions that deliver performance and security improvements for application infrastructure.
Develop new features and enable technologies for data storage supporting GPU I/O.
Develop advanced C++ and CUDA libraries and algorithms for maximum performance.
Identify and remove performance bottlenecks through optimizations in the I/O stack, frameworks, and applications.
Collaborate with specialists, including research teams, on complex engineering tasks that advance team and company goals.

Requirements

Good knowledge of Linux kernel internals, filesystems, object storage systems, databases, and vector databases.
Good understanding of NVMe and related technologies.
Development experience with cloud, virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM, and container technologies.
Advanced knowledge of computer architecture.
Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Experience with Bash and Python.
Excellent communication and planning skills.
BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 7 years of strong coding experience using C, C++, Rust, and Python.

Preferred Qualifications

Development experience with storage software, including key-value stores, filesystems, object storage systems, and vector databases.
Knowledge of the internals of frameworks such as PyTorch and JAX.
Exceptional CUDA and C++ programming skills.
