Details

The ClickPipes Platform enables the onboarding and integration of data from diverse data sources into ClickHouse. Operating at petabyte scale and in high-velocity environments, the team solves challenging technical problems while building reliable infrastructure for real-time data ingestion.

The role is suited to backend engineers with deep expertise in Kubernetes, distributed systems, cloud services, and platform reliability. The position involves working independently, taking initiative, and driving projects forward with a high level of autonomy.

Responsibilities

Enhance and scale the high-performance data onboarding platform to handle increasing volumes of real-time data.
Own and evolve infrastructure across multiple cloud providers, including AWS, with planned expansion to GCP and Azure.
Improve deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational processes.
Drive technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions affecting platform scalability and resilience.
Participate in on-call rotations, ensure system reliability, and respond to production incidents.
Continuously improve systems based on operational metrics, customer feedback, and evolving business requirements.

Requirements

5+ years of industry experience building backend systems.
Expertise in Golang, Kubernetes, and Terraform or a comparable infrastructure-as-code tool.
Experience with cloud-native architecture and solid knowledge of at least one major cloud service provider.
Strong commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs, using customer feedback to inform product development.
Excellent communication skills and a track record of effective cross-team collaboration.
Exceptional production debugging skills and the ability to solve complex technical issues in fast-paced environments.
Ability to thrive in a high-velocity setting with significant ownership and autonomy.
