Details

NVIDIA's Compiler team develops compiler technology for developers working across deep learning, machine learning, high-performance computing, graphics, and automotive domains. This role will lead software development programs and processes for the Compiler Development team, coordinating cross-functional teams from concept through delivery and supporting product releases involving CUDA, machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, GPU graphics, and compute technologies.

Responsibilities

Drive software programs and processes hands-on, leading multifunctional team members in a matrixed organization to deliver projects on time.
Lead projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Present project status to multifunctional teams and executive management.
Work independently, take ownership, and influence others with minimal mentorship.
Collaborate with global partners across time zones, geographies, and diverse technical fields to define work, report status, and deliver projects to expectations.
Develop and improve processes to create an efficient and accountable development environment.
Follow defined escalation processes when planned work products are not on track.
Think strategically and tactically by breaking down complex projects into manageable tasks and milestones and communicating them effectively to multifunctional teams.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent experience, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
At least 8 years of experience in a similar or related role.
Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Demonstrated software engineering background and technical skills.
Ability to investigate technical issues.
Knowledge of operating systems, software development best practices, and compilers is highly valued.
Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
Creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to resolve technical issues and conflicting priorities.
Experience with program management fundamentals, including risk management, tracking and monitoring, meeting facilitation, domain expertise, time management, and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating and implementing workflow processes between different teams.
Knowledge of GPUs, CUDA, compilers, and/or artificial intelligence.
Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Project.
Experience implementing tool automation.
Ability to resolve technical issues and resource conflicts through consensus-building and teamwork while delivering complex products to customers.
Project Management Professional certification.

Compensation And Benefits

The base salary range is USD 168,000–258,750 for Level 4 and USD 200,000–322,000 for Level 5. Base salary is determined by location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
