At NVIDIA, you’ll join a top-tier team advancing technology in AI, imaging solutions, and computing. The Tegra Solutions Engineering team focuses on camera, multimedia, and graphics for embedded platform architectures, including NVIDIA’s DRIVE self-driving platform.

Responsibilities

  • Work with product teams to deliver world-class platform solutions.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, and architecture teams to design, develop, validate, and optimize software on NVIDIA’s DRIVE self-driving platform.
  • Engage directly with customers and partners to productize DRIVE platforms, gather requirements, and develop and optimize their products.
  • Develop and maintain camera-framework drivers to enable and bring up camera sensors on automotive platforms.
  • Work with imaging pipelines, debug issues, and support image-quality evaluations.
  • Optimize performance for graphics and multimedia components in the driving platform stack.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in system software development, including 2+ years working with embedded systems focused on imaging and/or graphics pipelines.
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
  • Familiarity with source-control systems such as Git and Perforce, and tools such as JAMA and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of camera sensors, ISP, image quality, camera calibration, and interface components such as CSI and serializers/deserializers.
  • Good understanding of graphics fundamentals and GPU architecture.
  • Good understanding of Linux, Android, or real-time operating systems.
  • Experience working and interacting with customers.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with platform bring-up and BSP software.
  • Experience with GPU computing or computer vision.
  • Background with AUTOSAR, Cert C/C++, or MISRA.
  • Experience with CUDA and TensorRT.
  • Track record of integrating and delivering functional and performant real-time and/or distributed systems.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: USD 152,000–241,500 for Level 3.
  • Base salary range: USD 184,000–287,500 for Level 4.
  • Eligibility for equity and benefits.
