NVIDIA is looking for a senior systems software engineer to advance the Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) infrastructure that powers numerous open-source AI and accelerated computing software projects on the NVIDIA platform. The role focuses on shaping secure, scalable, and reliable CI/CD infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, extend, test, deploy, and maintain centralized CI/CD infrastructure for multiple open-source projects.
  • Collaborate with peers and partners through brainstorming and review sessions to produce high-quality designs, code, and documentation.
  • Review, recommend, and establish CI/CD guidelines covering reliability, performance, monitoring, security, compliance, interoperability, usability, correctness, consistency, and simplicity.
  • Support NVIDIA teams in using the foundational infrastructure.
  • Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical direction and standards of the infrastructure team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Eight years of software engineering experience using several programming languages, such as Python, Bash, and Go, along with experience in data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with CI/CD technologies such as GitHub Actions and GitLab Runners.
  • Experience with open-source software development workflows, tools, and guidelines.
  • Significant experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with Kubernetes administration and deployment.
  • Familiarity with security patterns, including authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and OIDC, authorization frameworks, and secret management with HashiCorp Vault.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization tools, including containers and virtual machines.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise with agentic AI frameworks, patterns, and tools.
  • Experience developing and operating centralized, large-scale automated build, test, and deployment platforms.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security requirements in cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Experience with the NVIDIA platform, including hardware and software.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range is USD 184,000–287,500 for Level 4 and USD 224,000–356,500 for Level 5. Compensation is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
