Today, NVIDIA is tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. We are looking for a senior systems software engineer to advance the Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) infrastructure that powers many accelerated open-source software projects. This role focuses on shaping secure and scalable CI/CD infrastructure for open-source AI and accelerated computing software on the NVIDIA platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, extend, test, deploy, and maintain a centralized CI/CD infrastructure for many open-source projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with peers and partners through brainstorming and review sessions to produce high-quality design, code, and documentation.
  • Review, recommend, and model guidelines of CI/CD for reliability, performance, monitoring, security, compliance, interoperability, usability, correctness, consistency, and simplicity.
  • Support other NVIDIA teams in using this foundational infrastructure.
  • Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to setting technical direction and standards for the infrastructure team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8 years of experience with software engineering in several programming languages and with data structures/algorithms.
  • Experience with CI/CD technologies such as GitHub Actions and GitLab Runners.
  • Experience with open source software development (workflows, tools, guidelines).
  • Significant experience working with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Kubernetes administration and deployment.
  • Familiarity with security patterns, e.g., authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC), authorization frameworks, and secret management (HashiCorp Vault).
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization tools including containers and virtual machines.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ways to stand out

  • Expertise with Agentic AI frameworks, patterns, and tools.
  • Experience developing and operating centralized and large-scale automated build, test, and deployment platforms.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security requirements in cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Experience with the NVIDIA platform (hardware and software).

Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary range reported: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.
  • Eligible for equity and company benefits (link to NVIDIA benefits provided in original posting).

Application information

  • Applications for this job will be accepted at least until July 18, 2026.
  • This posting is for an existing vacancy. NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes.
