NVIDIA is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join its Hardware Infrastructure team. The team builds tools and infrastructure used by engineering teams across the company to track, triage, debug, and understand complex development and data workflows. This role will focus on workflow design, customer interaction, product discovery, and high-quality UI/UX execution for practical, scalable systems supporting critical engineering workflows and AI-enhanced internal tools.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers and engineering teams to understand workflows, problems, and opportunities for improved user experiences.
- Develop intuitive interfaces for complex web tooling systems, dashboards, data exploration tools, and operational workflows.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, design specifications, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
- Partner with frontend engineers to implement and refine user experiences in Vue-based applications.
- Design AI-integrated workflows that summarize information, automate repetitive tasks, surface insights, and support better decision-making.
- Conduct user interviews, usability reviews, and feedback sessions with engineering clients and end users.
- Help define design patterns, interaction models, and UX standards for internal platforms and applications.
- Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities to produce practical, high-impact designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant UI/UX, product design, or UX engineering experience.
- Demonstrable experience designing web applications, dashboards, enterprise tools, or products for technical users, including customer-focused research during development.
- Strong Figma skills, including prototyping, component systems, design documentation, and collaboration workflows.
- Experience working closely with software engineers and translating designs into production-quality user interfaces.
- Familiarity with Vue.js or modern frontend frameworks, with sufficient technical understanding to collaborate effectively with development teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing AI-powered user experiences, including assistants, recommendations, summarization, automation, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Experience working with engineering, infrastructure, hardware, data platform, or developer productivity teams.
- Hands-on experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, design-system implementation, or current AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, and Codex.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience gathering requirements directly from users and customers.
- Ability to create quick prototypes or proof-of-concept UI implementations to validate design ideas.
- Understanding of data visualization, information architecture, and interaction design for complex technical workflows.

Compensation And Benefits
The base salary range is $124,000–$195,500 for Level 2 and $152,000–$241,500 for Level 3. Compensation is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The role also includes eligibility for equity and benefits.
