Details

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Automotive ASPICE Assessor to join its Infrastructure, Planning and Processes (IPP) organization. You will collaborate across NVIDIA's automotive programs, including NDAS DriveAV and hardware platform development, ensuring engineering teams reach and sustain world-class process maturity.

With AI-powered tooling increasingly involved in assessment analysis and evidence handling, the assessor role requires technical depth, the ability to synthesize large amounts of structured output, clear communication, and a program-management perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out and assist with ASPICE PAM 4.0 and HW SPICE HW Engineering PRM/PAM 3.0 assessments involving systems engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, supporting processes, and management processes.
  • Work with AI-assisted assessment tooling to review, validate, and cluster findings; apply engineering judgment to identify systemic root causes and prioritize the most important issues for each program.
  • Facilitate structured findings workshops with development teams by presenting evidence, discussing ratings, and evaluating improvement priorities constructively.
  • Translate findings into concrete, trackable improvement items and follow up with team leads and program managers through closure.
  • Communicate assessment status, trends, and risks clearly to senior leadership and steering groups; prepare structured briefings to support informed decisions.
  • Mentor engineering teams on ASPICE and HW SPICE process implementation, helping teams interpret findings and progress toward greater capability levels.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the assessment methodology, including calibration of AI-assisted tooling against assessor judgment.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Automotive SPICE PAM 4.0, with the ability to evaluate, articulate, and support findings at BP and GP levels.
  • 10 or more years of experience.
  • BS or MS in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • intacs Automotive SPICE Provisional Assessor certification; Competent Assessor certification is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting ASPICE assessments from planning through report delivery.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to present findings to engineers and senior collaborators and drive structured discussions toward actionable outcomes.
  • Program or project management experience, including coordinating multiple collaborative workstreams and maintaining progress on improvement programs.
  • Familiarity with ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, and ISO 8800.
  • Openness to using AI-assisted tools in the assessment workflow.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active or prior contribution to standards working groups such as intacs, VDA QMC, ISO TC22/SC32, or similar bodies.
  • Certification or proven knowledge in ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, or ISO 8800.
  • Expertise across functional safety, cybersecurity, AI/ML safety, and process maturity.
  • Experience with HW SPICE 3.0, including HW Engineering PRM/PAM.
  • Experience in autonomous-driving software development or testing, including familiarity with the interaction of systems engineering, software engineering, and management processes in L2 through L4 autonomous-driving programs.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range is USD 168,000–258,750 for Level 4 and USD 200,000–322,000 for Level 5. Employees are also eligible for equity and benefits.

Applications will be accepted at least until June 2, 2026. NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes and is an equal opportunity employer.
