SentinelOne's Professional Services division is seeking a Senior Threat Hunter to support proactive threat detection and response for clients. The role involves uncovering stealthy malware, suspicious behaviors, insider threats, and security hygiene gaps using SentinelOne's platform and telemetry from millions of endpoints worldwide. The Senior Threat Hunter will detect and disrupt threats, advise on containment, and help clients improve their long-term security posture.

Responsibilities

  • Support Wayfinder Compromise Assessment services, scope work, deliver technical findings, and present results to executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct deep, proactive threat hunting for SentinelOne clients.
  • Research and develop new detection rules, techniques, and tooling to improve the service.
  • Work closely with clients to remediate threats and improve their security posture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in client-facing cybersecurity operations roles.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering digital forensics, threat hunting, incident response, red team, penetration testing, or breach attack simulation services.
  • Experience with EDR/XDR telemetry analysis.
  • Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • An adversarial mindset and offensive security experience; OSCP, OSEP, or CRTO certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with EDR and system internals across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Familiarity with XDR logs, including cloud and identity logs.
  • Working knowledge of Git.
  • Experience with Python programming.
  • Experience working with Cyber Threat Intelligence tools.
  • Practical knowledge of OSINT tools and techniques.
  • Commitment to staying current with the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
  • Familiarity or experience with DFIR tools and techniques.
  • Experience reverse engineering compiled code using tools such as IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra.
  • Demonstrated track record of security research.

Compensation

The U.S. base salary range is $108,000–$130,000 per year. The range may vary based on the candidate's location, and a different range may apply in some locations.
