Details
NVIDIA is searching for outstanding software engineers to join the WDTL software team. You will build and maintain the systems, tools, and infrastructure required to support and verify DirectX driver software across NVIDIA's broad family of GPUs. The role includes hands-on management of an automated test lab, ensuring that test machines are healthy, up to date, and ready to validate drivers across a wide range of hardware configurations. You will support evolving GPU product-cycle technologies, including new operating systems, DirectX, hardware features, and related GPU technologies.
Responsibilities
- Build tools and systems to support automated testing and improve the software engineering process.
- Build and improve driver verification infrastructure to increase the speed and effectiveness of automated testing.
- Support hardware bring-up activities for new GPU products, coordinating early driver validation on pre-release silicon.
- Operate and maintain a lab of automated testing machines, including system imaging, hardware triage, network configuration, and infrastructure uptime.
- Work with various business units launching testing and automation on Windows platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware- and operating-system-level issues across the test lab environment.
- Apply DevOps principles to improve systems and processes.
- Solve problems through automation, including the use of agentic AI.
- Collaborate as part of a distributed team of highly skilled engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of proven software development experience.
- Experience with at least one scripting language: Perl, PHP, or Python.
- Application development skills in C# or a similar compiled language, such as C++, Java, or Go, with experience building tools, services, or automation frameworks. C# is preferred.
- Experience with source control systems.
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, or full-stack development is a plus.
- Experience with tools development and automated test frameworks is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong full-stack development skills.
- Hands-on experience with hardware product bring-up or pre-release silicon validation.
- Experience using AI tools as part of the software engineering process.
Benefits
The position offers a base salary range of USD 116,000 to USD 189,750, along with eligibility for equity and benefits. The base salary is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
