Details

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Agentic Payments team is building new API and integration experiences for agentic commerce, enabling AI agents and sellers to support new online purchasing models. Its first launch, Instant Checkout, was developed in collaboration with OpenAI.

The role owns the vision and execution of products that make commerce more fluid, automated, and aligned with user intent. The work includes enabling AI agents to build online commerce experiences through Stripe integrations, with access to Stripe's connected sellers and capabilities across APIs, dashboards, financial services, and e-commerce.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the product roadmap for agentic commerce solutions, including automated merchant tools and intelligent purchasing workflows.
Build full-stack solutions across Stripe's ecosystem, including back-end services, dashboard interfaces, money movement systems, and integrations with other Stripe primitives.
Partner closely with engineering and design to ship high-impact features that increase user autonomy and reduce friction.
Use data to test hypotheses and make informed product trade-offs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Stripe's broader platform and product teams to integrate agentic commerce capabilities.
Engage directly with users, particularly large enterprises, to understand business needs and translate requirements into novel product experiences.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

12+ years of product management experience.
A computer science background or equivalent technical experience.
Demonstrated experience leading initiatives across large engineering organizations and multiple teams, influencing technology roadmap planning and execution.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous concepts clearly and reason from first principles.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment involving multiple functions, stakeholders, and subject-matter experts.
Deep empathy for users balancing autonomy and guidance in digital commerce experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building APIs or new integration experiences for users.
Experience building products in e-commerce.
Experience founding a business or startup and taking a product from 0 to 1.
Interest in using social media to interact directly with customers and gather feedback.
