Anthropic is looking for seasoned Android engineers to join the Claude mobile team and build elegant, user-friendly applications that harness advanced language models. The role involves working closely with engineering, research, design, and product teams to develop mobile products that transform how people engage with technology.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement cutting-edge Android applications.
Develop novel solutions leveraging AI technologies.
Optimize performance across the mobile stack.
Champion best practices in mobile development.

Requirements

Expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, the Android SDK, and the broader Android ecosystem.

Practical full-stack development experience and comfort working with backend technologies.
A track record of shipping impactful, high-adoption mobile applications.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Relevant coursework, training, or professional experience in a field relevant to the role.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building successful products from 0 to 1 in early-stage environments.
Experience building applications that use modern ML or AI technology.
Experience with 3D graphics, visual effects, and audio and video streaming on mobile.
