Details

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform supporting developers and enterprises from data and model training through production deployment. The Hardware Automation team develops internal platforms and tooling for operating data center infrastructure at scale, reducing manual effort and human error while providing real-time visibility and control.

The team operates as a product engineering team embedded within hardware infrastructure and owns the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering with data center operations and hardware engineering through design, development, rollout, and ongoing reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop services that automate work with a large server fleet.
  • Manage large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Break down complex tasks and guide both your own work and that of more junior colleagues.
  • Write high-quality reference code and develop expertise in specific technologies.
  • Assess task priority and focus on high-impact work.
  • Contribute to architecture and system design.
  • Participate in hiring and interviews.
  • Share knowledge and mentor others.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Python or Golang, or the ability to quickly transition to these languages.
  • Ability to write reliable code and investigate complex problems.
  • Strong interest in participating in DevOps processes.

Additional Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of modern server architecture and its components.
  • Knowledge of computer networks.
  • Experience designing, developing, and running high-load distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms or infrastructure-level systems.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, or service meshes.
  • Background in performance optimization or low-latency systems.
  • Familiarity with observability tools, including metrics, logging, and tracing.
