Details

Anthropic is seeking seasoned iOS engineers to join the Claude mobile product team and build elegant, user-friendly applications that harness advanced language models. You will collaborate with engineers, researchers, designers, and Product teams to design and implement key components of Anthropic's mobile products.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement cutting-edge iOS applications.
Develop novel solutions leveraging AI technologies.
Optimize performance across the mobile stack.
Champion best practices in mobile development.
Maintain obsessive attention to detail and app experience.
Contribute to backend systems as needed.

Requirements

Expertise in Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and iOS frameworks.
Proficiency with the latest mobile platform capabilities and intricacies.
Practical experience with full-stack development and comfort working with backend technologies.
A track record of shipping impactful, high-adoption mobile applications.
Strong communication and mentorship skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and work closely with cross-functional partners and teammates.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. The field of study must be relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building successful products from 0 to 1 in early-stage environments.
Experience building applications that utilize modern ML/AI technology.
Experience with 3D graphics, visual effects, and audio and video streaming on mobile.
A vision for the future of human-machine interaction and a drive to make that vision a reality.

Compensation

Annual salary: $320,000–$405,000 USD.

Work Policy and Sponsorship

Hybrid policy: Staff are currently expected to work from one of Anthropic's offices at least 25% of the time, although some roles may require more office time.
Anthropic sponsors visas for eligible roles and candidates and makes reasonable efforts to obtain a visa, with assistance from an immigration lawyer.
