Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the flagship Windows desktop application that works with the Windows File System.
  • Work across the full application stack, delivering performance, security, and user experience improvements.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, QA engineers, and a Product Owner in a highly skilled and supportive team.
  • Use Microsoft technologies and tools to extend, optimize, and improve application functionality.
  • Participate in planning, design discussions, code reviews, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Explore and integrate technologies beyond .NET when needed to deliver the best solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience as a .NET/C# developer.
  • Solid understanding of WPF and Windows desktop application development.
  • Ability to work with Windows native APIs, focusing on performance, memory management, and stability.
  • Good understanding of event streams, real-time data, and reactive extensions for data processing.
  • Solid foundation in object-oriented programming and design patterns, with the ability to design clean, scalable, and maintainable architectures.
  • Experience with unit testing, dependency injection, and robust CI/CD practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand complex codebases, work with native APIs, and deliver solutions.
