Join the Android team at NordVPN and help build tools that protect users' online security, privacy, and data. The role focuses on automated testing for an Android application using Kotlin, with opportunities to improve QA processes and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for an Android application using Kotlin.
Design, implement, and execute automated tests for new and existing features.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and manual QA team members to define test plans and strategies.
Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with the development team to resolve defects.
Continuously improve the automation framework and integrate it into CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure timely and accurate test coverage for regression and feature testing.
Contribute to quality best practices and promote continuous improvement in QA processes.

Requirements

3+ years of proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer.
Strong proficiency in Android test automation using Kotlin or Java.
Experience with Android testing frameworks such as Espresso, UIAutomator, or Appium.
Experience working in Android Studio.
Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English.

Bonus Skills

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or XRAY.
Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or LoadRunner.
