At Nord Security’s B2B team, you will help build cybersecurity products that enable businesses to protect themselves and their data.

NordStellar is a threat exposure management platform designed to help businesses outsmart cyber threats, safeguard data, and prevent fraud. The Dark Web Monitoring team develops a standalone cybersecurity product that monitors thousands of cybercrime communities and dark web sites, providing cybersecurity teams with actionable information for better decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop back-end and ETL solutions for problems of various magnitudes.
  • Maintain the current monitoring system and develop new features.
  • Contribute to scalable microservices running in a cloud-native environment.
  • Write clear, tested, and documented code that delivers real business value.
  • Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of backend development experience with Python or Go.
  • Understanding of programming fundamentals and a genuine interest in system design.
  • Experience building or working with RESTful and/or gRPC APIs.
  • Working knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one SQL or NoSQL database.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar tooling quickly and respond to feedback in code reviews.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with microservice architecture.
  • Experience with message queues such as NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Sentry, and Prometheus.
  • Knowledge of web scraping tools and techniques.
