ING Hubs Poland is hiring a Data Engineer to join the ING Pricing Architecture (IPA) team, a global platform supporting real-time and batch risk calculations for ING’s Financial Markets. The role involves collaboration across four international locations and uses cloud technologies to deliver financial risk analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines.
Automate testing and ensure security, stability, and performance.
Work with structured and unstructured data across cloud and on-premises environments.
Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering best practices.
Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions.
Support innovation in real-time and batch risk calculations.

Requirements

Strong SQL and database expertise.
Experience with Python or Java.
Experience with GCP, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer, or equivalent services from AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, and Maven.
Experience with automated testing and Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform.
Analytical and proactive approach.
Advanced English proficiency.

Nice to Have

Experience with dbt, Looker, or data governance.
Experience with Apache Beam, Spark, Flink, or Kafka.

Work Environment

Hybrid work mode.
Full-time position.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture is “Engineer IV”.

Compensation

PLN 13,000–25,000 gross per month.
The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.
