Details

NVIDIA is developing the next era of accelerated computing and AI-powered systems. The ECAD PCB Tools Developer will join an agile, multifunctional EDA software development team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools that enable industry-leading PCB electrical design, physical layout, and signal integrity capabilities for system designers.
  • Assess requirements from the design community.
  • Build innovative solutions that continually improve tools and processes.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and multifunctional EDA software development environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years of CAD/PCB tools experience.
  • Proven history of delivering EDA/ECAD solutions using Cadence System Capture and SPB Allegro Layout for sophisticated system implementations.
  • Experience with system design and hierarchical sub-design.
  • Familiarity with automation on Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Cadence System Capture TCL API.
  • Background with Cadence SKILL or other CAD-level programming experience.
  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, Git, continuous integration, and Perforce.
  • Knowledge of PLM systems.
  • Knowledge of modern web technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary is determined by location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is USD 168,000–264,500 for Level 4 and USD 196,000–310,500 for Level 5. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
