About Privy
Privy’s mission is to make privacy and user ownership the default online by building simple, flexible APIs and tools for developers to create products on crypto rails.
Privy owns the abstractions and infrastructure layer above wallets, integrating across chains, third-party providers, and Stripe products such as Treasury and Link. The team solves technical problems involving hardware enclaves, multi-region low-latency APIs, and blockchain abstractions for mainstream developers.
Engineering at Privy values high urgency, strong product judgment, and a security mindset. The team uses Node, React, and AWS.
Responsibilities
- Own long-term team outcomes and the success of Privy’s product and business.
- Hold the team accountable for excellence in quality, throughput, and performance.
- Ensure the team is working on the right scope of work and projects, align decisions with business impact, and build interfaces with other parts of the organization.
- Fill gaps as a player-coach by reviewing pull requests, writing and reviewing design documents, and investigating incidents.
- Coach engineers toward growth and their career goals.
- Build a supportive, motivating, fun, and celebratory team culture.
- Partner with the team’s Tech Lead and Product Manager to drive successful engineering and product outcomes.
