Details

Join the team behind Threat Protection Pro, the NordLynx protocol, and NordVPN. The role focuses on delivering Threat Protection functionality for the NordVPN application and improving customers' digital security.

Responsibilities

Lead a team delivering Threat Protection functionality for the NordVPN application.
Own the output of a development team.
Plan and track the team's technical and delivery goals.
Keep the team focused, track delivery roadblocks, and facilitate their resolution.
Stay aware of the latest security practices and developments and ensure they are followed.
Empower developers to collaborate and resolve blockers.
Ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Guide the development of team members by preparing personal and career development plans.
Collaborate with team members to solve problems and resolve technical debates.

Requirements

Experience leading engineering teams, preferably with C/C++.
Understanding of business goals and product vision, including how the team contributes to them.
Object-oriented programming and object-oriented design mindset.
Network stack knowledge and low-level programming experience.
Sufficient expertise to design technical solutions, contribute to the codebase, and perform quality code reviews.
A high sense of responsibility and ownership.
Open communication style and transparency.
Positive attitude toward feedback, new ideas, self-improvement, and others.
