Details

The Solution Designer / IT Integrator translates business objectives, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable end-to-end technical solutions. The role bridges Business, Architecture, and Engineering, ensuring technical coherence across systems, applications, integrations, and data flows while supporting successful delivery outcomes.

The role drives solution feasibility, end-to-end design, technical alignment, and implementation governance throughout the initiative lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Business and Solution Analysis

• Analyse business requirements, Epics, and User Stories.
• Support shaping and feasibility activities.
• Perform impact assessments across applications, services, and business processes.
• Ensure traceability between requirements and technical implementation.

Solution Design

• Design end-to-end technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
• Define integration patterns, APIs, events, data flows, and system interactions.
• Produce solution documentation and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with security, resilience, and operational requirements.

Delivery Support

• Support backlog refinement and User Story decomposition.
• Collaborate with development teams during implementation.
• Drive technical decision-making and design reviews.
• Support testing, deployment, and production readiness activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Business stakeholders.
• Manage technical dependencies across squads and domains.
• Facilitate workshops and solution alignment sessions.
• Communicate risks, assumptions, and constraints.

Quality and Governance

• Promote engineering excellence and best practices.
• Ensure alignment with architecture, security, and compliance standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support operational stability and problem-resolution activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• At least 6 years of experience in the role.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Strong customer-centric mindset.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Contract and Working Conditions

• Permanent employment contract.
• Full-time position with 37 hours per week.
• Applicable Collective Labour Agreement: National Collective Labour Agreement for employees in the credit sector (NCLA).
• Location: Milan, hybrid.
• Starting annual base salary: €50,000.
• Variable remuneration in line with applicable remuneration policies, with a target based on the role and outcomes linked to the Group, business line or function, and individual performance.
