Details

Anthropic is seeking a technology program manager to own the technical needs supporting executives outside the enterprise, including their homes, vehicles, and travel. Reporting to the Protective Services Lead, this role combines physical security technology, hands-on program delivery, and vendor management. The role owns execution for the personal and residential security technology footprint, while aligning with the architecture and strategic plans established by the Engineering & Technology Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Own residential security system design, integration, and lifecycle management for assigned executive residences, including cameras, alarms, access control, and sensor networks.
  • Design and harden home networks for executive residences and travel, coordinating with corporate IT and information security standards where applicable.
  • Manage the technology aspects of travel security, including secure communications provisioning, single-use travel hardware, and rapid-deployment kits for new or temporary properties.
  • Manage vendors and contracts for residential and personal technology systems, installers, monitoring providers, and communications providers within the established governance framework.
  • Maintain system health monitoring, managed maintenance, and as-built documentation for technology deployed outside the enterprise perimeter.
  • Own the decommissioning and transition of technology when properties or vehicles change, ensuring that access, data, and hardware are not left behind.
  • Serve as the first point of contact and triage for executive and family requests involving personal technology and security systems.
  • Resolve issues directly when possible and route broader architecture or strategy decisions to the Protective Services Lead.
  • Contribute audit-ready documentation for owned technology to support regulatory, customer, and partner diligence requests.

Requirements

  • Hands-on physical security technology experience in residential, travel, or personal-protection contexts.
  • Program management experience delivering security technology, including installations, vendor relationships, or rapid deployments.
  • Experience building security technology capabilities from zero in a high-growth environment, including documentation, playbooks, and training.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships through the full lifecycle: selection, contracting, onboarding, performance management, and renewal.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to translate technical tradeoffs for engineers, principals, and household staff.
  • Comfort operating with moderate ambiguity and making decisions within an established technology strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Strong candidates may have 10 or more years of experience delivering physical security technology programs, direct experience with residential or executive-protection-related deployments, experience in an AI-focused or frontier technology organization, or experience managing distributed vendor networks across multiple properties or regions.

Work Arrangement

The role is remote-friendly but requires travel. Anthropic currently expects staff to work from one of its offices at least 25% of the time, although some roles may require more office time.

Compensation

The annual salary range is $245,000–$305,000 USD.

Benefits
