Finance Systems & Transformation Manager

ClickHouse is seeking a Finance Systems & Transformation Manager to own the technology ecosystem supporting its Finance organization. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role serves as the Finance technology leader and operates at the intersection of Finance, Engineering, and Operations. The role covers Finance systems implementations, integrations, data integrity, AI adoption, and governance, with a focus on scaling the organization toward IPO readiness.

Responsibilities

Process Transformation and Strategic Leadership

• Develop and own the long-term Finance Systems roadmap, aligning investments with business priorities and operational scalability.
• Lead Finance technology transformation initiatives that modernize business processes, improve effectiveness, and enable the Finance team to scale.
• Evaluate Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash workflows to identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate processes.
• Translate Finance business requirements into scalable system solutions and own delivery, adoption, and change management.

System Implementations

• Lead enterprise-wide Finance system implementations, major enhancements, and platform migrations.
• Own cross-functional dependency mapping by documenting upstream and downstream impacts for implementations.
• Embed IT General Controls (ITGCs) into new systems and build a SOX-ready control environment.

Integration Management and Data Integrity

• Lead the implementation of integrations and remediate recurring failures across the Finance technology stack.
• Own the integrity of Finance data flows across integrated systems by identifying breakdowns, resolving mapping failures, and eliminating manual workarounds.
• Develop scalable reconciliation frameworks and automated controls to identify discrepancies in real time before they affect financial reporting.

AI and Automation

• Design, prototype, and deploy AI agents and intelligent workflows to automate repetitive processes, manage exceptions, improve reconciliations, and increase the speed and accuracy of Finance operations.
• Partner with Engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to deploy secure, governed AI-enabled workflows.
• Define the Finance AI governance framework, including data access controls, acceptable use policies, auditability standards, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Finance Systems, Enterprise Applications, Business Systems, or Finance Transformation within a high-growth technology company.
• Deep understanding of Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Treasury, and financial close processes.
• Proven experience leading enterprise system implementations and large cross-functional initiatives from requirements through go-live and adoption.
• Hands-on experience owning and optimizing Finance technology ecosystems.
• NetSuite experience is required.
• Experience with Stripe, Ramp, Workday, or CaptivateIQ is a plus.
• Experience designing and managing integrations across enterprise business applications.
• Strong data skills, including SQL, API integrations, data transformation with dbt, and moving data between data warehouses and Finance systems.

Compensation

• Typical United States starting salary: $180,000–$220,000 USD per year.
• Typical United States premium market starting salary: $200,000–$240,000 USD per year.
• Premium market ranges may apply in locations such as the San Francisco Bay Area and the New York City Metro Area.
