About the Team

Stripe's Professional Services team works with strategic users on high-visibility projects. The team provides technical expertise to customers, helping accelerate their knowledge, solution design, and integrations with Stripe. The role involves leading strategic conversations and developing plans that transform payments and financial infrastructure for leading enterprises.

Stripe is establishing a team in Paris that will work across EMEA, with a particular focus on expanding coverage in the French market.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with Stripe's most strategic users, from initial discovery through live integration and ongoing optimization.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture, and Implementation teams to drive client engagement, customer wins, and Professional Services revenue.
• Plan and execute integration engineering end to end, from high-level architecture through code implementation.
• Explain technical concepts, including how Stripe works from both a product-feature and API-architecture perspective.
• Educate users and the developer community about Stripe's value proposition, best practices, and new technical developments.
• Showcase technical thought leadership through whitepapers, conferences, and other industry events.
• Serve as the primary ongoing technical point of contact for the technical teams of Stripe's largest users and partners.
• Provide recommendations, feedback, and best practices to product and engineering teams.
• Help establish a new regional office, implement established team practices, foster a collaborative culture, and serve as a cultural ambassador.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in software engineering or integration engineering, with strong generalist technical skills.
• Technical leadership on a large user-facing project from beginning to end.
• Comfort with code-level debugging and explaining technical concepts, including Stripe's product features and API architecture.
• A user-first approach, empathy for users, and confidence engaging with customers.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
