Details
The Partner Hub Platform Delivery Lead owns the end-to-end delivery of strategic and business-as-usual improvements to Partner Hub and its supporting content platform. The role turns partner and business needs into clear, technically viable delivery plans; aligns UX, content, engineering, analytics, localisation, legal, accessibility and external vendors; and drives work from discovery through launch, measurement and stabilisation.
The role is accountable for delivery clarity, scope, dependencies, risk, quality and operational readiness. This includes complex platform initiatives such as content migrations, search and AI-enabled experiences, accessibility improvements, personalisation, CMS capabilities and integrations. The role does not need to be a software engineer, but must be technically curious and confident enough to challenge assumptions, understand system dependencies and make informed delivery decisions.
Responsibilities
Project Planning
- Assess the complexity of incoming requests and apply the right level of briefing, discovery, stakeholder involvement, and Jira-based governance.
- Convert ambiguous requests into problem statements, outcomes, scope boundaries, component-level requirements, owners, dependencies and decision points.
- Establish clear approval paths, acceptance criteria and go/no-go criteria before delivery begins.
- Protect delivery teams from late scope changes by making trade-offs explicit and escalating decisions early.
Collaboration and Project Execution
- Lead cross-functional delivery across UX/UI, front-end, back-end, CMS/content modelling, analytics, QA, localisation and data or personalisation services.
- Translate designs or intakes, and business needs into actionable tickets, technical dependencies, estimates, sequencing and release plans.
- Coordinate migrations, redirects, taxonomy and URL changes, release sequencing, rollback plans and post-launch clean-up.
- Maintain a single, reliable view of scope, delivery status, risks, dependencies, decisions and readiness, ensuring delivery within scope, quality and budget.
- Create durable documentation, playbooks and ways of working that reduce repeat effort and improve delivery predictability.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for projects.
- Facilitate and participate in regular meetings, provide updates on status, and address concerns from development teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Define success measures with stakeholders and ensure the team can measure adoption and operational impact.
Risk Management
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report project performance, adjusting plans as necessary to meet deliverables.
Vendor and Budget Management
- Manage agency and technology-partner relationships, including briefs, estimates, capacity, work orders, service scope, delivery quality and performance conversations.
- Partner with Procurement and Finance on contracts, renewals, budgets, purchase orders, goods receipts and invoice validation.
- Challenge vendor assumptions and commercial proposals using evidence, benchmarks, service data and total-cost implications.
- Maintain continuity of knowledge, decisions and commercial context so delivery is not dependent on one individual.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience using Jira to manage project delivery, backlog refinement, estimation, dependency tracking and operational planning.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Agile delivery, including backlog refinement, effort estimation, dependency management and outcome-oriented planning.
- Proven track record of driving end-to-end delivery of digital platform, web product or CMS initiatives from discovery and design through development, QA and launch.
- Strong proficiency in content management systems, preferably Drupal.
- In-depth understanding of project management frameworks, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining product roadmaps and project timelines.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, clarify decision-making authority and navigate ambiguity.
- Experience overseeing vendors, contracts, commercial delivery and project budgets is strongly preferred.
- Solid grasp of financial management principles and budget oversight.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on building engaging, productive and high-performing team environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong documentation abilities.
- Superior organizational skills, keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask and reprioritize dynamically.
