Details

SpaceXAI is seeking exceptional media engineers to join a new project that deeply integrates its advanced AI infrastructure into a platform used by approximately 600 million users monthly. The team is transforming the video product experience across video playback, live streaming, Spaces, audio and video calls, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Build the next generation of large-scale video services.
  • Contribute to and rebuild core media processing and distribution pipelines using high-performance languages such as Rust, C++, or Go.
  • Optimize media quality and performance at scale across a broad range of products and user platforms, with close attention to latency and visual quality.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience.
  • Strong focus on media quality, performance, and product experience.
  • Proficiency in high-performance C++ or Go.
  • In-depth knowledge of WebRTC, LL-HLS, or video transcoding pipelines.
  • Familiarity with building and operating scalable, resilient distributed systems.

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • Go, C++, Rust, Java, or Scala.
  • Kubernetes, FoundationDB, ValKey, Envoy, or S3.
  • H.264, H.265, AV1, MP4, CMAF, VMAF, RTP, RTMP, LL-HLS, HDR, or DRM.
