SpaceXAI is seeking a Software Engineer to join the X Money team and help build a global payment network designed to serve over 600 million users. The role focuses on backend development, robust microservices, scalability, security, and reliability, while also supporting full-stack efforts and cross-functional initiatives involving payments, fraud detection, and compliance. The position offers the opportunity to work on greenfield projects at the intersection of AI and finance.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services, APIs, and data models for high-volume, multi-user environments.
• Collaborate with iOS, Android, and web client engineers to ship products.
• Design robust infrastructure and microservices for payments, transactions, growth, monetization, and engagement across platforms.
• Build and maintain full-stack features, including user dashboards, personalized experiences, content delivery, interactive tools, assessments, and real-time analytics.
• Lead architecture, scalability, and reliability decisions for high-concurrency, low-latency systems.
• Promote engineering excellence through testing, monitoring, deployment, and secure data handling.

Requirements

• Proficiency in distributed systems for high-scale, low-latency environments.
• Experience with languages such as Rust, Go, Python, and Java.
• Experience with high-volume streaming systems.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large-scale consumer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience working on large-scale consumer applications, or early- to mid-stage startup experience as a founding engineer.
• Experience with rapid prototyping, user-centric design, and AI solutions.
