Responsibilities

  • Work with developers, QA, an Engineering Manager, and a Product Owner to build an iOS app for a global product.
  • Develop and maintain the iOS application in a fast development cycle, contributing ideas for improvement.
  • Coordinate APIs provided by supporting teams.
  • Work with a 100% Swift codebase.
  • Select tools that ensure excellent code quality.
  • Contribute to technical tasks, feedback forms, and technical interviews.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and product and design meetings.
  • Implement unit tests to ensure code reliability and functionality.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience in software development for the iOS platform.
  • Knowledge of dependency injection approaches, protocol-oriented programming, and modern Swift concurrency using async/await.
  • Experience with modern architecture approaches, including MVVM, VIPER, Clean Swift, and Coordinators.
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
  • Experience working in an Agile product development environment.
  • Knowledge of Git and a sharp eye for design changes.
  • Deep understanding of the native mobile app ecosystem and memory management.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading technical discussions and contributing to improvements, processes, and engineering conversations within a team.
  • A strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive features from concept to production.
  • Accountability for commitments and proactive communication of risks and blockers.
  • Consistent delivery of high-quality work while balancing technical excellence with execution.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with cryptography, including OpenSSL and CryptoKit.
  • Experience with feature flags.
