The company is seeking an Offensive Security Researcher to research sophisticated attack techniques, assess and improve detection engines, and help shape the future of cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Proactively research and deeply understand the internals of the newest and most sophisticated attack techniques.
• Emulate attacks to assess and improve detection engines.
• Build tools to support detection assessments.
• Create proofs of concept for new techniques and exploits.
• Develop automation flows for unconventional attacks and offensive frameworks.
• Work closely with the Threat Intelligence team and research and engineering detection teams.
• Provide guidance and highlight gaps in detection and visibility capabilities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in red teaming, security research, or offensive research.
• Deep understanding of Windows internals.
• Hands-on coding experience with Python and C/C++.
• Deep understanding of malware, including malware operation, notable malware families, evasion techniques, and exploitation techniques.
• Experience with static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Experience with reverse engineering on x86/x64 architectures.
• Understanding of EDR internals.
• Experience writing detection signatures.
• Experience leveraging agentic AI workflows for malware analysis and detection engineering tasks, including reverse engineering, code auditing, and signature writing.
• Conference speaking or publications at security conferences is an advantage.
