SentinelOne is an AI-native cybersecurity company whose platform unifies protection across endpoint, cloud, identity, data, and AI systems. The company is seeking an Offensive Security Researcher to research sophisticated attack techniques, assess and improve detection engines, and help shape the future of cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

Proactively research and deeply understand the internals of the newest and most sophisticated attack techniques.
Emulate attacks to assess and improve detection engines.
Build tools to support detection assessments.
Create proofs of concept for new techniques and exploits.
Develop automation flows for unconventional attacks and offensive frameworks.
Work closely with the Threat Intelligence team and research and engineering detection teams.
Provide guidance and highlight gaps in detection and visibility capabilities.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in red teaming, security research, or offensive research.
Deep understanding of Windows internals.
Hands-on coding experience with Python and C/C++.
Deep understanding of malware, including malware operation, notable malware families, evasion techniques, and exploitation techniques.
Experience with static and dynamic malware analysis.
Experience with reverse engineering on x86/x64 architectures.
Understanding of EDR internals.
Experience writing detection signatures.
Experience leveraging agentic AI workflows for malware analysis and detection engineering tasks, including reverse engineering, code auditing, and signature writing.
Conference speaking or publications at security conferences is an advantage.
