  • Lead hands-on technical trainings, deep dives, workshops, and co-build sessions for partner engineers, architects, consultants, and delivery teams.
  • Help partners create repeatable service offerings, implementation packages, and reference architectures on Glean.
  • Develop partner technical maturity so teams can independently architect, implement, troubleshoot, and support Glean in production.
  • Identify partner capability gaps and work with Partner Managers, Product, Engineering, and Solutions teams to address them through programs, code, content, or product changes.
  • Act as Glean's technical representative within partner organizations and build relationships with partner technical leaders.
  • Provide technical support and expertise for partner-led services and solutions, particularly around agent development, custom connectors, custom integrations, and platform extensibility.
  • Co-build reusable demos and workshops involving Glean Agents, Actions, APIs, Web SDK and embedded experiences, custom connectors, and other extensibility patterns.
  • Build prototypes, reference implementations, sample repositories, service patterns, and reusable content.
  • Capture field learnings from partner deployments and provide actionable feedback to Product and Engineering.
  • Codify successful patterns into implementation guides, architecture blueprints, code samples, workshops, and troubleshooting playbooks.
  • Help define partner competencies and services motions, and scale bespoke field work into repeatable best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role such as partner engineer, forward-deployed engineer, solutions architect, solutions engineer, consulting or professional services, or a related role.
  • Experience building or deploying AI, LLM, or agent-based systems in production.
  • Experience writing, debugging, integrating, and deploying production software systems using APIs, SDKs, authentication patterns, and cloud services.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and hands-on coding experience in Python and at least one of TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms and practical experience with at least one major provider: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Ability to lead technical workshops, deep dives, or hands-on enablement that builds durable partner capability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and context-switch across technical and non-technical problems.
  • Willingness to travel 25%–50%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years in a technical role.
  • Experience working with VARs, GSIs, SIs, cloud partners, ISVs, or partner delivery organizations.
  • Experience with custom data source connectors, indexing pipelines, embedded experiences, enterprise search, retrieval, knowledge systems, or workflow automation.
  • Experience creating tutorials, guides, workshops, code labs, reference architectures, and implementation playbooks.
  • Experience shaping roadmap or packaging decisions based on partner or customer deployment feedback.
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment shaping partner motions, integrations, or go-to-market plays.

Success In This Role

  • Partners can independently deliver production-grade Glean services and solutions in addition to technical demos and pre-sales support.
  • Partners develop a visible Glean technical practice with trained engineers, repeatable offerings, reference architectures, and delivery confidence.
  • Reusable accelerators, code artifacts, workshops, solution packages, and implementation guides make partner-led delivery faster and more consistent.
  • Partner-led deployments achieve faster time to value through early resolution of technical blockers.
  • Product and Engineering teams receive high-signal feedback from partner deployments.
