The team works across cybersecurity products including NordVPN, NordPass, Saily, and Coveron.

Responsibilities

  • Design native-feeling experiences for iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and browser extensions while maintaining the Nord design language.
  • Explore multiple design directions and understand the rationale behind design decisions.
  • Surface assumptions early with product owners and engineers, challenge briefs when appropriate, and identify opportunities to remove unnecessary flows.
  • Apply and help evolve the design system by proposing new components when gaps are identified.
  • Support design decisions with evidence by partnering with UX Research or conducting validation independently.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers throughout implementation.
  • Own Design QA to ensure the delivered product matches the intended design.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in product design for mobile and desktop applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to design across platforms and take ownership of complex problems.
  • Ability to select appropriate prototyping tools for different questions, including quick mockups, high-fidelity prototypes, AI-assisted exploration, and prototypes using real data.
  • Constructive approach to disagreement and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to involve engineering considerations early and build trust with cross-functional partners.
  • Meticulous attention to visual and interaction details.
  • Ability to craft high-quality, user-friendly experiences.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.
  • Understanding of WCAG conformance criteria in design.
  • Experience in motion design.

Benefits

  • Online and in-person training, access to Coursera and Skillshare, mentorship, and internal career opportunities.
  • Additional vacation days, sick leave, special occasion leave, and parenting-related days off.
  • Premium private health insurance in Lithuania and Poland.
  • Subscriptions to Calm, Headspace, and Mindletic, plus resilience and mindfulness training and mental health events.
  • In-house gyms, Multisport and Urban Sport cards, online workouts, group mobility sessions, fitness guidance, and individual consultations.
  • Company workations abroad.
  • The option to work from different locations.
  • Gifts for birthdays, work anniversaries, weddings, and new family members.
  • Summer camps for children and flexible working arrangements for parents.
  • Team buildings and company events.
  • Access to the Vilnius headquarters, including silent rooms, gyms, a game room, a music room, and a coffee bar.

The role is hybrid and based in Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania.
