Details

For more than 25 years, NVIDIA has driven innovation in computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing. Today, NVIDIA is harnessing AI to build the next era of computing.

DSX OS is NVIDIA's open-source foundation for AI infrastructure. It is a growing portfolio of engineering teams building in the open. Every project in the portfolio needs to meet a shared bar for open-source readiness, including code hygiene, governance, and community health. This role owns an internal product that scores, tracks, and reports on readiness across the DSX OS portfolio, as well as the roadmap for evolving it from an internal utility into the definition of what "open-source ready" means for DSX OS.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the platform as production infrastructure by maintaining, hardening, and evolving it from a measurement tool into the system every DSX OS project runs on.
  • Ensure reliability and data quality for a platform on which the broader program depends.
  • Automate scoring and replace manual review, fix, and recheck loops with scalable tooling.
  • Enable self-service integration.
  • Build scoring into onboarding and workshop experiences so participants receive real-time feedback on their projects.
  • Work directly with project teams using the platform, capture friction signals, and feed them back into the product.
  • Automate the generation and tracking of per-project readiness plans so status, blockers, and progress are transparent to leadership.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading a software product or internal platform end-to-end, including deciding what gets built, why, and in what order.
  • Strong software engineering skills and a track record of turning manual, error-prone processes into reliable automation.
  • Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor as part of an actual engineering workflow.
  • Experience running a production system, including on-call, incident response, or ownership of uptime and reliability for a system people depend on daily.
  • Experience building reporting or dashboards that leadership and partners can trust as a source of truth.
  • An ownership mentality for production systems, including responsibility for system dependability and data integrity.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience building or operating rubric-based scoring or compliance systems, such as quality gates, readiness checks, or policy-as-code.
  • Experience using LLMs within an evaluation pipeline, including LLM-as-judge or qualitative signal assessment at scale.
  • Experience designing a metric or signal taxonomy from scratch, including determining what to measure, how to weight it, and how to keep a score relevant as the measured system evolves.
  • Experience building tools that abstract over multiple backends or platforms, such as supporting both GitHub and GitLab.
  • Experience with GitOps-style automation, including automated checks that run against every repository or pull request without human intervention.
