Details

At Booking.com, the CBO Office supports strategic and operational execution across the Chief Business Officer organisation, working across Business Operations, Change Management and Program Management to prioritise, plan and govern major initiatives, enable business change and improve cross-functional delivery.

The Product Manager will lead product discovery and strategy for an AI-powered, agentic delivery solution. The role involves working with stakeholders across Business Operations, Change Management and Program Management to identify common pain points, prioritise opportunities, and translate them into a product vision, roadmap and clear requirements.

The ambition is to evolve existing AI use cases into a coherent product ecosystem rather than a collection of disconnected solutions. This includes identifying reusable capabilities across workflows, progressively connecting them through agentic and multi-agent solutions, and determining which capabilities should be shared, craft-specific, delivered as one product, or delivered through a combination of shared and specialised products.

The contractor will work closely with the programme lead, domain experts, users and technical teams to create a scalable product that connects relevant enterprise knowledge and data and produces useful insights, recommendations, reports and reusable work products.

Customer Insight

  • Use interviews, surveys, story mapping, use-case design and other techniques to understand customer behaviour and needs.
  • Analyse customer feedback from multiple sources and turn it into actionable hypotheses.
  • Validate or invalidate new concepts and improve existing products.

  • Develop research briefs with research, data science and product marketing stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management

  • Identify teams and stakeholders affected by projects.
  • Gather requirements, integrate feedback and represent the team's work clearly and convincingly.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through timely, concise and clear progress updates adapted to different audiences and communication formats.
  • Manage expectations up to Director level and occasionally the Leadership Team level.
  • Handle challenging stakeholders independently.

Technical Collaboration

  • Partner with the Engineering Manager or Tech Lead.
  • Develop an active understanding of the technical aspects of the work.
  • Represent customer and business needs in engineering trade-off decisions.
