Details
Bloomberg’s Buyside Solutions provides global, multi-asset solutions for portfolio management, trading, compliance, risk management and operations for buy-side firms. The Buyside Product team is seeking a senior product professional to focus on evolving Operations strategy, defining the future state of the front-to-back operating model and IBOR strategy, and improving the integrity of investment data across middle-office workflows.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive product priorities aligned with client needs and strategic objectives.
- Own and manage product roadmaps for key areas, including asset-class expansion and operational readiness.
- Analyze workflows across front-to-middle-office functions to identify gaps, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements and partner with Engineering to deliver scalable solutions.
- Improve start-of-day readiness by increasing data completeness, accuracy and timeliness across critical workflows.
- Use data, operational metrics and client feedback to inform prioritization and product decisions.
- Lead integrations with third-party partners and internal systems in alignment with target operating models.
- Track delivery against milestones and proactively manage risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to communicate product vision, progress and outcomes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in buy-side asset management or financial technology.
- Strong understanding of data integration, reconciliation or data integrity management processes.
- Working knowledge of investment workflows, particularly across front-to-middle-office operations.
- Experience owning product initiatives and driving delivery across cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform product decisions.
- Experience working closely with Engineering teams in an agile development environment.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage senior technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with middle-office workflows and operational processes.
- Exposure to asset-class lifecycles across Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities and Derivatives.
- Familiarity with enterprise buy-side solutions, including front office, IBOR and ABOR.
- Experience leading client onboarding, integrations or medium- to large-scale product rollouts.
- Understanding of target operating model design and implementation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-driven environment.
Benefits
The salary range is $140,000–$295,000 USD annually, plus benefits and bonus. Benefits may include merit increases, incentive compensation for exempt roles, paid holidays, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability benefits, a 401(k) match, life insurance and wellness programs.
