Details

NVIDIA's Enterprise Infrastructure organization is seeking a Senior Director, Enterprise Networking to lead the strategy, architecture, deployment, and operations of NVIDIA's global enterprise network. This critical leadership role is responsible for the end-to-end network connecting NVIDIA's offices, campuses, HPC data centers, labs, and cloud environments worldwide. The leader will drive Agentic AI-based transformation of the enterprise network to meet the velocity, reliability, and security demands of a leading AI company.

Responsibilities

  • Set the technical vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the global enterprise network across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Lead the design, deployment, and operation of wired and wireless office networks, campus edge, and resilient SD-WAN, POP, and WAN architectures leveraging Agentic AI.
  • Drive HPC data center networking, including high-speed interconnects, spine-leaf fabrics, and capacity planning for GPU-dense research and engineering infrastructure.
  • Architect and manage cloud connectivity, including direct peering, interconnects, and hybrid network integration with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Oversee network firewall and security infrastructure, including NGFW, segmentation, micro-segmentation, NAC, and Zero Trust access, in partnership with Cybersecurity.
  • Establish an agentic, data-driven, SRE-oriented operating model with defined SLOs, observability, automation, and continuous improvement across network domains.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a globally distributed engineering organization spanning architecture, design, deployments, and network site reliability engineering.
  • Partner with IT, Security, Real Estate, Facilities, and Cloud Engineering to ensure network readiness for business needs.
  • Represent networking at the executive level by translating technical complexity into business outcomes and investment priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 18+ years of experience in network engineering, architecture, and operations, including 10+ years of leadership experience managing large, geographically distributed network teams.
  • Deep expertise across enterprise networking domains, including LAN/WLAN, WAN/SD-WAN, data center networking, campus edge, network security, and cloud connectivity.
  • Proven experience transforming network operations at scale from traditional NOC models to modern, software-driven SRE and Agentic AI-first approaches.
  • Experience operating networks in hyperscale or large enterprise environments with thousands of network devices across multiple geographies.
  • Strong command of network security architecture, including NGFW, NAC such as ISE, network segmentation, IPsec VPN, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams through hiring, mentoring, and succession planning across multiple management layers.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills and the ability to translate technical infrastructure priorities into business language.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and technology evaluations across networking platforms such as Arista, Cisco, Juniper/Mist, Palo Alto, and Aryaka.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a hyperscale cloud service provider or a large technology, AI, or HPC-focused organization.
  • Familiarity with HPC and AI cluster networking, including InfiniBand, Spectrum-X, RDMA, and RoCE.
  • Experience with network automation and infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Netconf/YANG.
  • Experience implementing SRE principles, including observability, SLOs/SLIs, incident management, and runbook automation, using AI/ML and AI agents.
  • Experience deploying cloud networking and hybrid architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience operating networks supporting rapid physical expansion, including new office builds, lab stand-ups, and data center deployments.
