NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Agentic AI High-Performance Code Generation team. The role focuses on building autonomous coding systems that use multi-step reasoning, self-correction, and autonomous code generation to produce high-performance software using NVIDIA's accelerated computing stack.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement sophisticated coding agents and agentic platforms.
  • Build and maintain high-performance, large-scale production systems for compute-intensive agentic workflows and AI evaluation.
  • Develop rigorous AI evaluation methodologies to measure the accuracy, safety, and efficiency of generated code and agentic logic.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to optimize agent-generated code and supporting platforms for NVIDIA GPU architectures.
  • Establish engineering standards and best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment within the agentic AI ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience building and maintaining large-scale production systems.
  • Proven experience building coding agents or comprehensive agent platforms.
  • Direct experience developing skills and workflows using state-of-the-art coding agents and IDEs such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
  • Proficiency in Python and at least one systems programming language, such as C++ or Rust.
  • Strong background in AI evaluation, including designing benchmarks for complex, non-deterministic agentic behaviors.
  • Experience with distributed systems and orchestration for managing high-throughput AI workloads.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing CUDA kernels and profiling with Nsight Compute and Nsight Systems.
  • Hands-on experience optimizing and deploying with TRT-LLM, SGLang, vLLM, or Transformer Engine.
  • Demonstrated leadership building and scaling agentic AI applications in production environments.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range for Level 3: USD 152,000–241,500 per year.
  • Base salary range for Level 4: USD 184,000–287,500 per year.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
