NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Parking, Autonomous Vehicles team. The team builds automotive and robotics technology supporting parking and driving activities for autonomous vehicles and driver-assistance features. This role requires strong curiosity and analytical rigor when solving difficult problems.

Responsibilities

Design planning algorithms for navigation in unstructured and semi-structured environments.
Implement planning algorithms in C++ to support parking and driving features.
Write documentation and tests for automotive software.
Develop simulation scenarios to assist in the development of new features.
Support deployment of code on test vehicles and assist with testing.

Requirements

Experience in mathematics, control, optimization, machine learning, reinforcement learning, or an equivalent field.
PhD with 4+ years, MS with 6+ years, or BS or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant experience in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience using C++ for software development.
