Join NVIDIA's CAD Infrastructure team to help build a next-generation software platform for semiconductor development. The platform applies innovative graph neural network infrastructure to process graphs at a trillion-edge scale. This hands-on role involves contributing across the development lifecycle, from architecture through implementation.
Responsibilities
- Architect highly automated and customizable flows using modular builds and object-oriented techniques.
- Collaborate with architects and designers during active specification development to identify integration gaps and keep workstreams aligned.
- Build event-driven data preprocessing pipelines for large-scale graph data.
- Construct tools and user interfaces in C++ and Python for advanced engineering workflows.
- Engage cross-functionally with VLSI organizations to anticipate future challenges and develop solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with C++ and Python programming.
- Strong foundations in software development, algorithms, and data structures.
- Proficiency in software architecture, with experience building complete systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across disciplines during an evolving development cycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building graphical user interfaces for engineering tools, including complex, data-rich interfaces designed for engineers.
- Background in graph-scale data infrastructure or graph neural network-based systems.
- Exposure to machine learning or agentic tooling, particularly LLM-based code generation.
- Familiarity with EDA or VLSI build environments.
- Experience exposing software toolchains to AI agents or building developer-facing AI interfaces.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range of $136,000–$218,500 USD for Level 3.
- Base salary range of $168,000–$264,500 USD for Level 4.
- Base salary is determined by location, experience, and the compensation of employees in similar positions.
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
