Details

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will work with prospects and customers to align their goals and requirements with SentinelOne offerings. This is a security pre-sales engineering role focused on endpoint security, including prevention, EDR, and threat hunting. You will help accelerate sales initiatives by presenting SentinelOne technology to executives and security practitioners in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with sales partners to develop territory and account strategies and campaigns.
  • Understand customer requirements related to security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments.
  • Track and document aspects of the sales cycle that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer.
  • Lead proof-of-concept and value engagements.
  • Prepare and lead technical presentations explaining how products and services work.
  • Secure orders, guarantee product standards, and assure product delivery.
  • Recommend new and improved products and explain their cost-effectiveness to customers.
  • Provide first-level technical support throughout the sales cycle, initially supporting customers through implementation before transitioning predominantly to pre-sales engineering.
  • Participate actively in the broader technical team by sharing experience and best practices.
  • Travel up to 50% as needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably endpoint cyber defense.
  • Demonstrable experience handling objections and positioning products against competitive technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience speaking to both small and large audiences.
  • Concise written and oral communication skills for leading business and technical presentations, demonstrations, and conversations with executives and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience successfully selling to mid-market and large customers.
  • Basic knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, notable malware, and anti-malware solutions and techniques.
  • A team-focused approach and positive attitude.
  • Experience in computer forensics, security architecture, penetration testing/red teaming, or incident response is a plus.

Compensation

The U.S. role offers on-target earnings of $196,000–$270,000 USD, inclusive of base salary and commissions. The range may vary based on the candidate's location, and a different range may apply in some locations.
