Senior Staff Product Designer, Dashboard Studio

Details

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform used by businesses worldwide. The Product Design team defines, creates, and delivers user-facing aspects of Stripe's brand and products, partnering closely with Engineering and Product Management.

The Dashboard team works to ensure Stripe operates seamlessly for every merchant, regardless of their business structure or the products they use.

Responsibilities

• Proactively connect business goals to product opportunities.
• Anticipate needs and articulate a compelling product vision.
• Collaborate across design, product, and leadership to shape strategy and align roadmaps.
• Present work regularly to leadership, synthesize feedback, and rapidly refine solutions.
• Champion craft and product excellence through example.
• Communicate ideas through high-fidelity prototypes and compelling storytelling.
• Develop durable, scalable design frameworks that raise the bar for craft across the company.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant design experience at a technology or product-driven company.
• Ability to operate independently and turn ambiguous, cross-functional problems into clear, cohesive visions.
• Experience partnering closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to drive design strategy.
• Ability to navigate complexity and distill it into simple, intuitive solutions.
• Ability to translate business objectives into customer-centered design opportunities.
• Confidence presenting work to company leadership and communicating design decisions through clear, compelling storytelling.
• Strong visual design and craft skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to balance bold vision with thoughtful, incremental rollouts.
• Experience mentoring or leading peers and junior designers, either as a design manager or senior individual contributor.
