Details
As a member of the NICo Software Development Team, you will be responsible for automating portions of the software development lifecycle, including using AI to automate the evaluation, dispatch, and tracking of incoming software defects throughout their lifecycle. The team operates globally and works to advance the future of computing.
Responsibilities
- Develop specific software fixes within the core DSX NICo team and ensure their timely delivery.
- Write AI agents that automate software defect intake, initial triage, and assignment.
- Collaborate with the quality team to verify defect sources and reproduction steps.
- Improve defect-handling pipelines and communicate the status of incoming defects to relevant stakeholders.
- Use AI to advance open-source software development, including automating ticket triage, bug fixes, low-quality issue detection, and AI feedback loops for continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience automating software development workflows using AI.
- Experience with software development tools such as GitHub.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, distributed team.
- Strong understanding of AI and large language models, including their limitations and effective deployment.
Compensation And Benefits
- Base salary range of USD 124,000–195,500 for Level 2.
- Base salary range of USD 152,000–241,500 for Level 3.
- Eligibility for equity and benefits.
- The base salary is determined by location, experience, and compensation for employees in similar positions.
