Details

Coinbase is seeking software engineering interns to build new features for products including Coinbase.com, Custody, and Wallet, while supporting APAC expansion initiatives. The role involves solving large-scale, highly complex technical problems and building systems that make cryptocurrency accessible globally across web, iOS, and Android. Interns may work on real-time applications with high-frequency, low-latency updates, fraud prevention, user experiences, and secure, Dockerized cloud infrastructure.

This is a 12-week summer 2027 internship running from May 17 through August 6. Interns are required to work in person at the Singapore office three days per week.

Responsibilities

Work with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into a quarterly roadmap.
Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs.
Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems.

Requirements

Experience with any object-oriented programming language, whether gained through coursework, personal projects, or employment.
Interest in how people interact with products and in building experiences that users value.
Self-motivation and commitment to personal growth.
A positive approach to problem-solving.

Nice to Have

Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Experience with Golang, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, Ruby, or Rails.
Experience developing React Native mobile applications.
