NVIDIA is a leader in cloud gaming with its GeForce NOW platform, which allows gamers to play their titles on PC, Mac, mobile, and TV. The GeForce NOW Developer Portal (GDP) is the centerpiece of NVIDIA's developer environment for partners to develop, test, and publish games to GeForce NOW.
The GDP organization builds and operates this environment, collaborating closely with game publishers and internal NVIDIA teams to continuously evolve the platform and provide a world-class developer experience. The organization also works directly with partners to provide guidance and support for successfully bringing their content to the platform.
The role will manage a software engineering team within NVIDIA's GeForce NOW Developer Portal organization, supporting internal and external users and building the services, tools, and user interfaces that power the GeForce NOW cloud gaming ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Gain and maintain a deep understanding of how the GeForce NOW Developer Portal organization builds and operates the components supporting NVIDIA's cloud gaming ecosystem.
- Develop, guide, and supervise a team of engineers in their daily activities.
- Partner with multiple internal teams to develop roadmaps, development strategies, and processes.
- Gather high-level requirements and influence the design and implementation of the team's software products.
- Present regular status updates and deep dives to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Organize, deploy, and coordinate partner support activities and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of experience designing and building distributed software systems, including edge and networking services.
- At least 3 years of experience leading and developing teams of engineers with diverse technical backgrounds across organizations.
- Experience building and operating services on AWS, including EKS, ECS Fargate, ALB/NLB, WAF, and ACM.
- Strong ability to write code in mainstream systems programming languages such as Golang, Java, C, C++, or Rust.
- Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration technologies such as containerd, CRI-O, and Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, and GitOps/ArgoCD.
- Experience with real-time, low-latency streaming systems such as WebRTC.
- Demonstrated ability to design and operate partner- and developer-facing REST or GraphQL APIs at scale.
- Experience with secrets management and identity and access management approaches, such as Vault and IAM.
- Experience with production observability and incident response.
- Ability to reach cross-functional consensus while dealing with ambiguity.

- Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting user-facing software infrastructure composed of different types of software components.
- Experience measuring and improving operational excellence.
- Experienced, persuasive, and effective written and verbal presentation skills.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range is USD 168,000–270,250 per year. Base salary is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
