Details
NVIDIA is developing CPUs for embedded, automotive, and data center markets alongside GPUs for artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and visualization. The UEFI Firmware team is hiring a System Software Engineer to contribute to early modeling and simulation, development, verification, and deployment of products used in gaming consoles, servers, and AI devices.
Responsibilities
- Develop features and code for UEFI firmware.
- Document code flow, data flow, and architecture for UEFI firmware.
- Debug UEFI firmware issues and identify their root causes.
- Support simulation and FPGA environment bring-up for UEFI firmware.
- Drive and independently resolve issues across teams and disciplines.
- Plan and execute pre-silicon and post-silicon verification of UEFI firmware.
- Develop test frameworks and tests to verify UEFI and ARM SBSA/SBBR requirements.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with globally distributed teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with low-level operating system functionality, particularly ARM technologies and programming.
- Excellent C programming and debugging skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience with UEFI, ACPI, SMBIOS, and the Linux kernel is preferred.
- Experience with system software, operating system internals, kernel modules, and device drivers.
- Experience working with AI development tools.
