Details
Bloomberg’s Data teams deliver data, news, and analytics through innovative technology. The Global Securitized Products Data Team researches and supports the global securitized products market. The Americas ABS Securitized Products Team creates and maintains cash-flow models and data while managing workflows for the US ABS sector, including new issuance and bond data, cash-flow modeling, collateral performance data, periodic cash-flow reconciliation, and client support.
Responsibilities
- Lead, empower, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of US ABS and securitized products experts.
- Oversee time-sensitive, high-quality data processing, financial analysis, cash-flow modeling, project management, and client support.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other partners to support client and market needs.
- Develop and improve Bloomberg’s securitized products data, cash-flow models, workflow tooling, and operational scalability.
- Strengthen US ABS data coverage by identifying gaps and opportunities to enhance offerings.
- Identify and champion operational efficiency improvements through process optimization, automation, emerging technologies, and scalable solutions.
- Shape and drive the broader securitized products data strategy by translating market, client, and business needs into a clear vision and actionable team goals.
- Establish consistent data management standards and best practices while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop team members and manage complex, time-sensitive deliverables.
- Build influential relationships with internal and external clients, stakeholders, issuers, trustees, and other securitized products market participants.
Requirements
- 3+ years of leadership experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of cash-flow modelers and financial data professionals.
- Demonstrated knowledge of securitized products, ABS, and structured finance markets.
- Ability to develop and execute strategies, lead sophisticated projects, and influence or manage operational and organizational change.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects.
- Working knowledge of Python, Unix, GitHub, and data visualization tools.
- Ability to leverage technology, automation, and emerging tools to improve data quality, workflow scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Deep knowledge of US ABS markets, securitized products data, and cash-flow modeling is desirable.
- Expert-level knowledge of data processing paradigms and related tools and technologies is desirable.
- Experience developing relationships with issuers, trustees, and other securitized products market participants is desirable.
- A master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, MBA, and/or CFA designation is desirable.

Annual salary: USD 135,000–230,000, plus benefits and bonus. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education or training, and skill level.
