Details

Anthropic is hiring a Technical Program Manager to own cross-functional billing programs across billing engineering, GTM systems, finance and treasury, product, and support. The role will establish clear priorities, dependencies, ownership, and progress across programs supporting new products, regions, and commercial channels.

Responsibilities

Drive cross-team programs that build billing platform foundations, from scoping and trade-off decisions through delivery.
Standardize how new commercial work enters billing through a framework-driven intake process, clear ownership, and sequenced dependencies.
Own the promotions program end to end, including proposal, configuration, and reconciliation for self-serve and sales-led programs.
Own commercialization and launch readiness for billing, ensuring pricing, metering, invoicing, and reporting are in place before new product or SKU launches.
Own the change process for the charge pipeline.
Run payments operations programs in partnership with finance and treasury, including currency and foreign exchange initiatives.

Requirements

At least 6 years of technical program management experience, with a track record of owning cross-functional programs end to end.
Ability to reason about metering, invoicing, payment flows, and the data pipelines behind them.
Experience running launch readiness programs where a new product required its commercial and billing path before launch.
Ability to build trust with engineers, finance and treasury partners, GTM systems, product, and support teams, and translate between them.
Comfort driving outcomes across teams that do not report to you.
Preference for building repeatable processes instead of repeatedly resolving the same issues manually.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. The field of study should be relevant to the role through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Strong candidates may also have experience with promotions, credit programs, enterprise billing platforms, FX, treasury, month-end close, reconciliation, payments operations, billing platforms, quote-to-cash product management, chargeback operations, or refund operations.
