Details
SentinelOne is seeking a Director of Product Management to own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for Analyst Experience. This includes the workflows security analysts use to triage, investigate, and respond to threats across endpoint, cloud, identity, and third-party data. The role will establish one vision and narrative across the Operations Center, Purple AI, asset and entity inventory, investigation graph, and investigation timeline.
The role will lead a team of up to six product managers and is responsible for ensuring their work forms a cohesive product rather than a collection of separate features. The successful candidate will have experience owning an analyst-facing security operations product and leading enterprise customers through a major platform migration.
Responsibilities
- Define how analysts work in the Singularity Platform and create the narrative connecting the Operations Center, Purple AI, asset and entity inventory, investigation graph, and investigation timeline.
- Set the agentic-first analyst direction, including where analysts remain in the loop and how the interface establishes trust in agent actions through transparency and control.
- Define and report on analyst outcomes, including mean time to investigate and respond, alerts handled per analyst, investigations resolved by agents, adoption of the new experience, and delivery milestones.
- Unify assets and entities across endpoint, cloud, identity, and third-party data into a single model for analyst workflows and agents.
- Own the product direction for the investigation graph and investigation timeline, enabling analysts and agents to understand what happened, in what order, and what was affected without switching tools.
- Partner with data platform and engineering leaders on data models, entity resolution, query performance, and scale requirements.
- Lead the migration of legacy customers to the new analyst experience, including parity planning, migration tooling, sequencing by customer segment, deprecation timelines, and customer communications.
- Work with Customer Success, Support, Sales, and MSSP/MDR partners to plan rollouts, manage risks for large and regulated accounts, and track migrations through completion.
- Determine what to carry forward, redesign, or retire during the migration program.
- Hire, lead, and develop product managers while setting standards for PRDs, roadmaps, prioritization, and customer-facing communication.
- Lead group planning and make tradeoffs across product roadmaps.
- Work closely with UX design and research, recognizing that the experience and design quality are central to the product.
- Spend regular time with SOC analysts, MSSPs, and security leaders to test assumptions and observe investigations.
- Support sales, solutions engineering, and product marketing with positioning, competitive deals, and field enablement.
- Represent Analyst Experience in company-wide planning and briefings with industry analysts.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of product management experience at enterprise SaaS or security companies.
- At least 3 years of experience leading and managing product managers.
- Direct experience owning an analyst-facing security operations product, such as SIEM, XDR, SOAR, EDR investigation, or an adjacent product.
- Understanding of how a SOC triages, investigates, and escalates incidents and the factors that slow analysts down.
- Demonstrated experience leading a large migration or deprecation program that moved an installed base of enterprise customers from a legacy product or interface to a new one, with measurable completion and retention results.
- Product experience with large-scale data platforms, including entity resolution, graph data models, event timelines, or high-volume search.
- Ability to make data model and performance tradeoffs with engineering teams.
- Experience establishing a unified vision across multiple product areas and aligning engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to executives, industry analysts, and customers.
- Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time for customer engagements and internal planning.
- Experience shipping AI or agentic product experiences, such as LLM-driven investigation, copilots, or autonomous workflows, including evaluation and user-trust practices, is preferred.
- Prior experience as a SOC analyst, threat hunter, or incident responder is preferred.
- Experience with multi-tenant MSSP or MDR workflows, or a background in design-led products or close partnership with a UX organization, is preferred.
Benefits
- Restricted Stock Units and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
- Flexible time off, paid company holidays, paid sick time, gender-neutral parental leave, and grandparent leave.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
- Life and disability insurance, health and dependent care FSA, and voluntary benefits.
- Employee Assistance Program, ARAG pre-paid legal, nationwide pet insurance, Cancer Care program, and global business travel medical insurance.
- Home office allowance and mobile phone reimbursement.
- Wellness coach, wellness/gym reimbursement, fertility coverage, and adoption and surrogacy reimbursement.
